On April 26, Bonnyville RCMP, along with St. Paul RCMP Traffic Services, executed the search warrant at a rural property in the Bonnyville area. As a result of the search warrant, one man was arrested, and several items, including $40,000 worth of drugs, were seized.

Twenty-one firearms, several thousand rounds of ammunition, five trailers, one ATV, one engine skid, multiple other items believed to be stolen, and $6,000 cash were seized by RCMP.

Along with the stolen items and cash, police also reportedly found 223.5 grams of cocaine and 523.8 gram of crystal methamphetamine.

“The Bonnyville RCMP continues to fulfill its mandate to enforce property crime offences which, often times, uncover other serious offences, such as, in this case, the discovery of 21 firearms and $40,000 worth of cocaine and methamphetamine,” said Staff Sgt. Sarah Parker, detachment commander of the Bonnyville RCMP.
